Who we are

TotemWake is made by Sajkra, an independent game developer based in the United Kingdom, who is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at our e-mail address.

The website

  • The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no social media plugins. Fonts and images come from our own server.
  • Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time and the page requested) to run and protect the server. We do not use them to identify visitors.
  • If you write to us by e-mail, we use your message and address only to reply.

The game

Update check

In the main menu the game asks totemwake.com whether a newer build exists. Nothing about you is sent beyond what any web request contains (your IP address appears in the server log described above).

Feedback form

The game sends data only when you press Send in the Feedback form. A report contains:

  • your answers: rating and text, and your e-mail address only if you type it in;
  • game details: build number, hero, level, run time, weapons and similar;
  • technical details: operating system, processor, graphics card, memory, frame rate and system language;
  • a random installation ID created by the game, so we can group reports from one installation (it does not identify you);
  • only if you tick the option: a screenshot of the game view (without menus) and the end of the game log, with your Windows user name removed.

To stop spam, the server stores a one-way hash of your IP address with the report and in a short-term rate limit; your IP address itself is not stored with the report. Reports are stored on our server at Hostinger, and a copy arrives in our e-mail inbox (Microsoft Outlook) so we can read it quickly.

We use reports only to fix bugs and improve TotemWake. We keep them while the game is in development and delete them no later than 24 months after you send them — or earlier if you ask.

Legal basis (UK GDPR and, for players in the EU, the EU GDPR): your consent when you send a report, Art. 6(1)(a), and our legitimate interest in running a stable website and game, Art. 6(1)(f).

Saved on your PC

Your gold, settings and tutorial status are saved only on your computer (Windows registry, Software\DanAIDev\TotemWake). We never receive them.

Downloads from GitHub

Game builds may also be published on GitHub. If you download them there, GitHub's own privacy statement applies.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, to limit how we use it, or object to it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us — mention roughly when you sent a report, so we can find it. You also have the right to complain to the UK data protection authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). If you live in the EU, you can contact your local data protection authority instead.

Kontakt: nasz adres e-mail.

Strona

  • Strona nie używa ciasteczek, statystyk, reklam ani wtyczek mediów społecznościowych. Czcionki i obrazy pochodzą z naszego serwera.
  • Nasz dostawca hostingu, Hostinger, prowadzi standardowe logi serwera (adres IP, przeglądarka, czas, adres strony), żeby utrzymać i chronić serwer. Nie używamy ich do rozpoznawania odwiedzających.
  • Jeśli napiszesz do nas e-mail, używamy wiadomości i adresu tylko do odpowiedzi.

Gra — sprawdzanie aktualizacji

Gra — formularz Feedback

Gra wysyła dane tylko wtedy, gdy klikniesz Send w formularzu Feedback. Zgłoszenie zawiera:

  • Twoje odpowiedzi: ocenę i tekst oraz adres e-mail tylko jeśli go wpiszesz;
  • dane gry: numer buildu, bohatera, poziom, czas rundy, bronie itp.;
  • dane techniczne: system operacyjny, procesor, kartę graficzną, pamięć, liczbę klatek i język systemu;
  • losowy identyfikator instalacji tworzony przez grę, żeby grupować zgłoszenia z jednej instalacji (nie identyfikuje Ciebie);

Zgłoszeń używamy wyłącznie do naprawiania błędów i rozwijania TotemWake.

6 ust. 1 lit. a, oraz nasz prawnie uzasadniony interes w utrzymaniu działającej strony i gry, art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f.

Napisz do nas — podaj mniej więcej, kiedy wysłałeś zgłoszenie, żebyśmy mogli je znaleźć. Masz też prawo złożyć skargę do brytyjskiego organu ochrony danych, Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
